Who is really in charge
as AI-driven tools influence more of our lives?
Backstory: As the first Gen immigrant ingrained with achieving mindset, I worked the way through Stanford and rides the tides of AI/Data booming in the past 20+ years in Silicon Valley’s tech visionaries. Yet working at the backend of social media, are people digitized data points in LinkedIn and Facebook?
Transitions: During 2018-2019 when I orchestrated AI powered HR SaaS Product featuring NLP/deep learning to detect employee’ emotions and intentions, I found out I hardly hear my own emotions. Is it the benefits or perils that technology bring to us?
Plunge: pandemic is pivotal period of time to listen to the silence during my meditation and to experience global grief. When I listened beyond inner dialogue, beyond inner voices of resistance, beyond evaluating, judging, critiquing, emotional responding, a vast open space emerged. It turns out to be the significant personal transformation, which leads me to coaching: exquisite art of listening - the fundamental building block of human connection.
Today: I become ICF certified coach to bring this privileged benefit of personal transformation, typically accessible only for senior executives, to everyone, especially with the advent of groundbreaking advance in AI since 2023 which causes confusion and anxiety among young generation. I hope by sharing my AI/Data journey can assure people that AI will make us more than uniquely human than ever, as long as we fully own the responsibility for our transformation.
