Painter’s
Statement
I started painting with the initial attitude of “unwinding” and “un-learning”, with the unconditional permission I give to myself to make mistake and mess around. Unexpectedly, this process lapses into the space of “unbridled expression”...turns out there is a wonderland!
In the beginning, I painted with frustration, resistance, doubt, judgement and fear. Yet, I cherished those clumsy moments. It turns out some of my best paintings were born when everything was wrong – paper was wrong, brush was wrong, paint was wrong and water was wrong.
Watercolor is my favorite medium. Somehow water, together with my breathing, dissolves those frozen memories deeply buried in my mind. When those memories slowly emerge, I paint. So WHO is actually painting? My neural networks? I am not sure.
My paintings reside between external images and internal perceptions, like a mirror, with massive empty backgrounds. I believe paintings are already there before we paint. Occasionally there are those effortless, almost magic moments, yet I don’t count on that.

My artwork is the witness of internal incubation of my idea in those formless forms and external manifestation & new reality realization. Dream does come true.
My painting process is very much like the process I spend time with my client: Together, we have the courage to BE in the present moment and uncover those hidden gems in my clients in uncharted territories.
I am currently in the process of transmitting those precious and fleeting moments of joy and fulfillment with my clients and I were experiencing together, despite the challenges and obstacles along the way. More to come!
